How did you get your start as a comedian? I got started in comedy in high school. A teacher by the name of Mr. Shuey noticed that I was always making jokes and telling stories. Rather than marking me as a bad student or a trouble maker, he allowed me to focus on TV productions where I excelled. From there, I began learning how to produce a show and writing comedy. After graduating from high school. I attended college and had a part-time waiter job at Ryan's. An employee I worked with told me that I made work for her a lot more entertaining. She gave me the number of a comedian and club owner. Although he had been approached by many other wannabe comedians, I showed persistence.

What was your first gig? After a month of working with Quevaughn Bryant, I hosted and produced an Open Mic Night at the Jokers Wild Comedy Club in Hagerstown, MD. First gig went great, the second one was not as good.

What is your most memorable moment? My most memorable moment has to be after after a show that I did, a couple came up to me and said that this was the first time that they gone out in a year and a half. They went on to tell me how they had a struggling marriage but had a great time and laughed together at one of my jokes. The woman was in tears as she was telling me and said thank you so much, After that incident, they became regulars at the comedy club.

What is your reason for doing comedy? We all have our reasons. When I walked into a room people noticed me and whether or not if they liked me, they listened to me. Growing up, I had a lot of pains and issues that I dealt with, but no matter what, comedy seemed to be a way to deal with everything. I believe that there is too many negative aspects to life and life is sometimes too serious. Comedy has a way of making us as humans forget our differences and also allow us to look at things that are considered taboo.
